Mrs. Redmond

I was born and raised in Indianapolis and attended Catholic schools for most of my education.  I’m a 1996 graduate of Bishop Chatard High School, and in 2001, I graduated from Ball State University with a BS degree in Kindergarten Primary Education. My first teaching position was at St. Matthew Catholic School, where I taught Kindergarten for 4 years.  I then taught 2nd grade for 2 years. I loved teaching both grade levels, but especially enjoyed teaching 2nd grade and sacramental preparation.
In 2009, after having our 2nd baby, I took a break from my teaching career to be at home with our young children. During this time, we welcomed baby #3. I  stayed VERY busy at home for 5 years, during which I earned my brokers license in real estate and became part business owner with my husband in his real estate business. I began to miss being in the classroom, and made the decision to return.
From 2014-2016, I held a teaching position at St. Mary’s Child Center where I taught full day multi age preschool. While I truly enjoyed teaching at SMCC, I knew I was searching for something more. Making the move to St. Monica was a blessing, and I am very excited to be teaching Preschool 4’s with some wonderful teachers!
My husband David, children Brooklynn (10), Ryan (7), and Aden (5), our dog Tanner  and I live in Fishers.  We belong to St. Louis de Montfort, where I enjoy volunteering as a Religious Ed. teacher on Sundays. Our children definitely keep us busy with their school activities, sports, friends and Scouts schedules. When I have extra time on my hands, I love to read, bake, take on home projects, and spend time with our friends and family.

Mrs. Seibal

I have always had a  passion for children.  Growing up in Northwest
Indiana in Portage I was at Lake Michigan daily and surrounded by children.
I graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville, IN in 1983. My degree is from Ball State University in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten
Endorsement.  This is my sixth year teaching at Saint Monica (3 years in Kindergarten and 3 years in 4's preschool).  Prior to working at Saint Monica I taught at Epworth United Methodist in the 3's program for 5 years.
As my own children, Ben (25), Alaina (21) and Dominic (12) were growing up I
stayed at home with them and ran a Licensed Day Care based out of my home for 10 years.  Dominic currently attends Saint Monica as  a 7th grader so I have both a teaching and parenting perspective.  My husband Nick supports all that I do and helps coach football and basketball at St. Monica.
I am fortunate to have my mother living with me so in my spare time I am a caregiver.  This gives me compassion to guide my classroom in grace.  My blessed childhood, family life and God give me the ability to share my passion for children and unconditional love for all.  It is my pleasure to serve St. Monica families along side an amazing staff.

Mrs. Hoaglin

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana by "Cradle Catholic" parents. Their main goal was for my sister and I to receive a Catholic education. I graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1979 and Loyola University in 1984. I have a deep pride in my Catholic faith and will be forever grateful to my parents for providing me with this academic and spiritual opportunity. Once I became a parent, my husband, Steve and I knew we wanted the same for our daughter, Lauren (21).
She graduated from Christ the King Catholic School, Cathedral High School, and is attending I.U.P.U.I. She is also a sub here at St. Monica and loves it!.
I have been a preschool educator for 21 years, most recently at EpworthPreschool for the past 16 years, where I taught 3, 4, and 5 year olds. This is my second year at St. Monica and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of being here. I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful families and an amazing staff. I sincerely look forward to coming to work everyday. My motto has been, "I love 'em little!"  But more importantly, I love my Catholic "Littles." It is a privilege to teach young children to pray and be thankful for all that we have. It is my honor to share with them God's unconditional love for each and everyone of us. I am reminded daily that I, in turn, should learn from these Littles! "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them. For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." (Matthew 19:14)
Steve, Lauren and I are active members of Christ the King Parish. I am the coordinator of The Giving Tree Program, our Christmas community service project, and the summer Vacation Bible School Program. We serve our parish as Eucharistic ministers, ushers and lectors. I also have a wedding planning business. I have been teaching young children for such a long time that I am now planning weddings for some of my former students. I can't wait to have their children in my classroom.
